Proximity 2015: Good News to the Poor
We are excited to announce our programme for our annual conference in May 2015.
Proximity 2015 is nearly upon us! Here’s a taste of what to expect over the two days as we worship, pray and think about God’s mission in areas of urban deprivation.
Danielle Strickland, known for her work with the Salvation Army in brothels ministering to prostitutes, or trawling the streets praying with drug addicts, will be joining us at our annual conference. She will be joined by Ash & Anj Barker, leaders of Bangkok based Urban Neighbours of Hope. Worship will be led by Jamie Hill and you can expect the usual fun and games around the workshops, meal times and coffee breaks in between.
BOOK NOW and get the early bird rate until 28 February.
“Proximity is the highlight of my year. It is all about gathering with likeminded community activists from around the country, to worship, be encouraged, challenged and learn from one another. Come and use this time out to share, dream and conspire.” Sam Ward, National Director, Eden Network.
The vision for Proximity is to collaborate with all those bringing the church into much closer proximity with communities that have experienced decades of social decay; simultaneously bringing transformation to broken lives and restoring authenticity to Christian discipleship.
If you’re a leader or practitioner in any of these five overlapping areas of ministry Proximity is for you.
